Golden Alpine Holidays operates 4 lodges within the Esplanade Range in SE British Columbia over an area of 150 square kilometers. All lodges are geographically located at the intersection of the famous Selkirk, Rocky and Purcell Mountain Ranges surrounded by National Parks on two sides.
All lodges are situated between 2000 to 2200 meters above sea level in a beautiful pristine alpine environment. Each lodge can accommodate up to 12 clients and 4 staff. Propane is used for lighting, cooking and drying gear. Centrally located, wood burning stoves provide heat for all lodges with ample split wood right outside the door of each lodge.
Sentry Mountain Lodge is the flagship of the Golden Alpine Holidays fleet t features an environmentally friendly micro-hydro electric generating system plus indoor amenities like ordorless composting toilets, running water and showers making it feel just like home |
